Do you want to operate a catalytic reactor? We assist with catalyst selection and reactor design. Key aspects considered in the design and calculation of catalytic processes include catalyst properties, space velocity, feed and desired product concentrations (mass balance), temperature and pressure, aging, energy balance, and reactor geometry.
In order to understand these complex reaction kinetics, it is important to know the speed of the reaction and the main factors influencing it. We have calculation tools developed from experimental data (field), laboratory values and theoretical models for many catalyst materials. An estimated 500 C&CS designs are in operation in the field – this experience is incorporated into the design. We can often even guarantee properties, e.g. max. CO limits over 2 years for gas engines.
