Full-service provider of industrial catalysis. This is C&CS.

For 30 years, our sister company GWP mbH has operated a gas laboratory, which should perhaps be called a catalysis and emissions laboratory. Here, as contract research, we developed the mixed oxides that later found their way into nitrogen oxide reduction in trucks and cars, now known as AdBlue. We also developed a pilot plant, complete with an absorber, for purifying food-grade CO2 of toxic COS. For a laboratory equipment manufacturer, we developed a PSA system for producing nitrogen from air, which replaces pressurized gas cylinders and fits on a tabletop. For the dewaxing of galvanized turbine blades, we brought a precious-metal-free catalyst for wax vapor combustion to industrial maturity. And we have completed many other highly specialized boutique projects that have established the gas laboratory’s reputation. Now, this laboratory is a better fit for the C&CS (Catalysis & Emissions Laboratory) and we are relocating to Kirchheim, with operations commencing in mid-2024.

“Now we can finally determine activities, selectivities, capacities, specific surface areas, strengths, and temperature stabilities for customer processes and our own MEMBER & GLAMOUR developments. Why the enormous effort of a catalysis laboratory?”

1) It is a huge benefit for our customers to know the best operating conditions for their process.

2) We can investigate damages

3) and test new applications yourself!”
