Reactor service from A to Z – flexible and individually adaptable
Our new service offering includes filling and emptying fixed-bed reactors, including sorting and sieving of catalysts, cleaning of reactor silos, and – on request – passivation of the reactor interior surfaces after emptying to ensure safe access. We place particular emphasis on a fast and structured process in order to minimize production interruptions.
Our repertoire also includes specialized procedures such as skimming – the targeted removal of individual catalyst layers for analysis or refilling. We use modern technical aids to ensure uniform layer distributions and to minimize mechanical stress on the catalysts.
Handling under inert gas, dust-free and efficient
For air-sensitive materials, we offer loading and unloading under an inert gas atmosphere. Our experienced team also masters dust-free catalyst handling – a crucial aspect for occupational safety and plant availability.
For particularly homogeneous fills, our Dense Loading System can be used upon request. This allows us to achieve an optimized bed structure that reduces pressure drops, avoids hot spots, and stabilizes reactor operation in the long term.
Wet Dumping? No problem.
We have also developed suitable processes and equipment for special requirements such as wet dumping – the safe removal of catalyst while simultaneously rinsing with liquid – to guarantee safety and efficiency at all times.
