Exhaust gas purification - Stationary engines

Emission-reducing catalysts

Exhaust gases from stationary engines consist primarily of carbon monoxide (CO), formaldehyde (CH₂O), and the residues of various hydrocarbons. C&CS offers oxidation catalysts, i.e., emission-reducing catalysts, for stationary gas, biogas, and diesel engines. Depending on the requirements and conditions of exhaust gas purification, we supply monolithic catalysts based on ceramic or metal substrates with varying diameters, depths, cell densities, and precious metal loadings – precisely tailored by our experts to your engine and the desired emission limits.

SCR catalysts

SCR catalysts enable NOₓ reduction. Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) operates at low to medium temperatures and is a widely used technology today. If the catalyst design is not yet defined, our specialists will provide expert advice. We will design the appropriate catalyst technology to meet emission limits, utilize the available installation space, consider the fuel gas, optimize flow, and comply with the required maximum exhaust backpressure. Furthermore, our in-house housing manufacturing allows us to offer customized, innovative complete solutions. Such applications are typical for combustion engines and combined heat and power plants, but are also found in many other industries.
