HySat 200 Chromium-free catalyst for fine hydrogenation
HySat 200 Pow is a chromium-free, copper-based catalyst with a special composition for the hydrogenation of certain diacids, diesters and anhydrides to diols.

The hydrogenation of nitrobenzene (nitrobenzene) with the functional group -NO2 to aniline is carried out either in a discontinuous slurry process based on nickel catalysts or in an isothermal process in the gas phase using copper catalysts to avoid attacks on the aromatic ring and side reactions to diphenylamine.
The hydrogenation of nitro compounds is important in organic synthesis because it facilitates a method for introducing amino groups into organic molecules.
