ActiSorb® Cl2 Removal of Chlorine from Natural Gas
ActiSorb® Cl₂ is a high-performance, alkali-promoted spherical adsorbent, with a particle size of 2–5 mm, designed for the removal of chlorine compounds from natural gas.

Alkali oxides (e.g., of lithium, sodium, and potassium) and alkaline earth oxides (magnesium, calcium) are highly reactive, strongly basic compounds with diverse industrial applications.
Due to their chemical properties, they are used particularly in gas treatment to remove acidic pollutants from gas and liquid streams. Furthermore, they play a key role in catalysis, primarily as promoters that influence the activity and selectivity of catalysts.
