Silica gel standard

Standard silica gel, with or without an indicator, is most commonly used for humidity control in industry. The main industries where simple and reliable industrial application is required are electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.
In some industrial sectors, dry storage is particularly important, and standard silica gel makes this possible. Another common application is the protection of sensitive materials and environments. In chemical and biological laboratories, low and controlled humidity must be maintained when conducting various experiments to achieve better results.
Standard silica gels such as Poresphere A-Indicator or Poresphere White have a high pore density with a pore size of 0.2–12.5 mm and, due to their fine pore structure, enable the efficient adsorption of even minute amounts of water.The mechanical stability is sufficient for general use in industrial environments; however, use under extreme conditions is only possible under specific circumstances.
These materials can be regenerated by heating them up to 140 °C. Our experts can support you in process development to achieve maximum regeneration.
