C&CS #1050 B Tar Reforming Catalyst

C&CS #1050 B is a novel nickel-based tar reforming catalyst developed based on the catalyst technology developed in the EU project MEMBER for the Sorption Enhanced Reforming (SER) process. It produces a fluidizable nickel catalyst with an extremely high specific surface area at high temperatures. Due to its expected high catalytic activity combined with high mechanical strength, the bulk catalyst C&CS #1050 B is advantageously suited for use in catalytic hot gas filter elements in biomass gasification for hot gas purification (For more detailed information on the developed catalyst technology, see the article on pages 14-16: Speciality Chemicals Magazine JAN/FEB 2023 (joomag.com)).
