EnviCat® 2520 is a platinum-based precious metal oxidation catalyst designed for the exhaust gas aftertreatment of stationary internal combustion engines and industrial plants. It is supplied in the form of ceramic honeycombs with cell densities of 100 or 200 cpsi (cells per square inch) and oxidizes carbon monoxide (CO), formaldehyde, unburned hydrocarbons (HC), as well as other VOCs and HAPs with high conversion rates of up to 99% and higher.
In thermal systems, the catalyst can contribute to the reduction of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions and is custom-designed regarding honeycomb dimensions and mounting systems.
