The proven Envicat VOC-1544 is a copper-manganese oxide-based oxidation catalyst on an aluminum oxide support. This cost-effective catalyst (Hopcalite-type) without precious metals is characterized by its high efficiency in the total oxidation of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), including alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, and many other compounds such as carbon monoxide (CO). A special feature of this catalyst is its high resistance to silicones and polyorganosiloxanes, which enables its use in demanding environments.
