Hydrodesulfurization HDMax 200

HDMax 200 Hydrodesulfurization Catalyst HDS

Product description and application

The HDMax® 200 is a cobalt-molybdenum catalyst for the hydrodesulfurization of hydrocarbon streams such as natural gas or naphtha. In the presence of hydrogen, HDMax® 200 catalyzes the complete removal of sulfur from organic sulfur compounds, releasing H2S, and converts organic chlorine compounds into HCl. It is suitable for both liquid-phase and gas-phase processes and is available in the form of extrudates.

Downstream, the ZnO adsorbent ActiSorb S2 is used to adsorb the released H2S.

Benefits:

  • Enables the complete conversion of organic sulfur and chlorine compounds
  • It exhibits high thermal and mechanical stability, which extends service life
  • Can be used flexibly in liquid and gaseous feed streams
