HyFlex 500 Palladium catalyst for hydrogenation in fine chemicals

Typical application: Fine chemical hydrogenation of, for example, limonene in pharmaceuticals, food products, and fragrances. The catalysts are 2–4 mm spheres in bulk form. The catalytically active component is finely dispersed palladium on an oxide, porous support.
HyFlex is a broad range of precious metal and base metal catalysts for various hydrogenation reactions, such as the production of amines or oxo alcohols and the high-temperature dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol. In combination with NiSat® catalysts, they also offer optimal hydrogenation for resin production.
