Iodine Adsorber DSM11 Iodine Absorption in Nuclear Power Plants

The iodine adsorbent DSM11 was developed for the selective absorption of iodine in the presence of organic iodine compounds (e.g., methyl iodide). It is used for effective iodine absorption in combination with the iodine adsorbent AC6120, which adsorbs organically and inorganically bound iodine, in exhaust gas purification and air monitoring systems of nuclear power plants. Due to its specific composition, noble gases are not absorbed.
