Tonsil® CO 614 G – Refining/purifying of technical and edible oils

Tonsil® CO 614 G is a granulated, acid-activated montmorillonite bleaching earth used for the purification of edible oils and technical oils. Thanks to its high specific surface area and optimized pore structure, it removes impurities such as colorants, metal compounds, and suspended solids from edible oils. The granulated form with a defined particle size distribution (>1.00 mm / 0.25–1.00 mm / <0.25 mm) enables easy handling and stable use in continuous purification processes. The product has also been successfully tested for use in transformer oils.
