We are offering our remaining stock of 800 kg of ReforMax® 450 LDP at absolutely special conditions. This is an alumina-supported nickel catalyst in the form of rings for the steam reforming of hydrocarbons to produce town gas – a mixture of CO, H2 and methane. The manufacturer is Clariant.
In secondary reforming and autothermal reforming, aluminum oxide-supported nickel catalysts are used as a top layer, which act as an active guard layer in the function of a heat shield to protect the underlying calcium aluminate-supported nickel steam reforming catalyst. In addition, the ring-shaped ReforMax® 450 LDP has a lower pressure loss (low pressure drop) and a larger geometric surface compared to spheres.
