Micromeritics’ high-tech instrument is used to analyze surface reactions and catalytic properties of solids. It is primarily employed in catalyst research and development to investigate chemical adsorption and desorption processes. With its ability to execute precise temperature programs, the instrument enables the determination of key parameters such as specific surface areas, acid and base strengths, and active metal surfaces. Thanks to its versatile analytical capabilities, including temperature-programmed desorption (TPD), reduction (TPR), and oxidation (TPO), the AutoChem III provides reliable data for characterizing catalytic materials. This information is crucial for optimizing industrial processes in fields such as petrochemicals, environmental technology, and materials science.
